I have a metal container that is used to collect coins. Its lid is on a hinge and when this lid is hit it bounces, making progressively quieter noises each bounce. Fun stuff. Recorded with a boss br864 digital studio and a shure mic.

Raw unedited recording of harsh metallic tinking sounds caused by a hot metal plate being hit by water droplets. The plate was hot enough to induce a leidenfrost effect preventing most of the water from boiling and sizzling away leaving mostly the impact sounds.

This is a recording of a metal desk creaking with very little movement. I recorded this sound, amplified it, and removed the white noise. That's the only processing this sound has gone through. This is a recording of myself banging a garden chair, an old table and a ladder together to create an earthquake element. It is completely raw, so no processing has been done, no eq, nothing. I recorded this in my living room with my trusty sennheiser mkh 416, straight into an mbox mini and into pro tools.
